"It was spot on."

Finally purchased the Shop Fox W1754S, always wanted to get this one. Very clean finish with hardly any snipe. Softwood perfomance is above average. So far, it's been a really nice Benchtop Planer. Its not that heavy and super easy to move.

It's really a great machine! This machine is a beast for the money. All the calibrations were accurate. Don't even have to use hearing protection. It's done an excellent job, plenty of power.
