First Impressions

"It's a hoot."

A decent hold but not enough for intended use. When I first opened it I got hit with that new welder smell, so good. Works as described and when you turn it off the crap falls off too. Bought this to teach myself welding. I use a short cord into it, and don't over push it, and it does well.

"Rods were as expected."

I would not say it is a big deal, I can make pretty welds. First off I want to speak about the company Miller Electric. Sold the welder about a year ago but now I'm looking at getting another soon. I would highly recommend this cart. The amperage markings go by every twenty amps.
