No need to swap out chain in the field yet. This is my third Husqvarna purchase. Even when fully extended the pole isn't flimsy. I've included photos of what I took down. Starts on the second pull every time.

And as I said, I don't front as an expert. And, it starts each time without issues. The second red mark was about 14 inches. Without it things will get clogged quickly! I press the button, pull the trigger and it goes.
