"Expensive yes but what a cool Festool tool."Don't expect to plane wide boards perfectly. If you only used a crude hand plane you can use this. It is a solid, well-made tool with plenty of power. Not only it's quick, the finish is impressively smooth too. I can't get too close to the floor with it.
