I received it yesterday and actually welded with it today. Great product I need about three more. They run as nice and smooth as the 7018 rods I use in my welding class. These weld really nice and the slag comes off pretty easy! Sold the welder about a year ago but now I'm looking at getting another soon.

The ESAB 92051130 Arc Welder B000LDHHZM was definitely our favorite ESAB Welders. With that said, there are a handful of other really great options when it comes to ESAB Welders. We have them for you here.

Apart from the option we reviewed already, I would have a look at the 0387-0031 by ESAB and the 0387-0071 by ESAB. Both these tool manufactures are thought to be two of the best makers of quality Welders. Both tools are highly rated as well. Users gave the ESAB an score on average of 4.5/5 stars. Contrast that to the 0387-0071 that boasts an average score of 5.0/5 stars.

The 0387-0031 by ESAB has a couple of features you might not get on competing Arc Welders. For example Fuel gas usage - acetylene, hydrogen. The 0387-0071 by ESAB however, is very competitive offering Gas Service: Acetylene, Hydrogen and even Size: 4.

I can easily suggest both of these ESAB Welders

I'm running an ESAB 160 on about 45 amps and these rods run great. I had to weld a 2" pipe to a steel plate and this help keep the pipe in place. I wish I had purchased these years ago! Really like it, it's my first welder but its awesome. When I first opened it I got hit with that new welder smell, so good.

I also used a sturdier cotter pins to hold the rear wheels on. The top handle is by far easier to use and less cumbersome. This is an awesome cart for your home shop or garage. I use a short cord into it, and don't over push it, and it does well. Works as described and when you turn it off the crap falls off too.

I have a small machine shop and build tooling often. This one fired right up out of the box with no worries. The ESAB weighs around 75lbs and doesn't lay down any better of a weld. I had to weld a 2" pipe to a steel plate and this help keep the pipe in place. These are some awesome rods.

This thing can't weigh more than 10 lbs and its super portable. I use a short cord into it, and don't over push it, and it does well. I take it with me for on site jobs. I would highly recommend this cart. I'm running an ESAB 160 on about 45 amps and these rods run great.
