It is sturdy, heavy duty and just right for a DYI garage guy. The top handle is by far easier to use and less cumbersome. I also used a sturdier cotter pins to hold the rear wheels on. You can try, and I've been successful, but it is very difficult. Best money I have spent on a Arc Welder.

The Bosch 1974-8 Arc Welder B0020ML6B8 was undoubtedly our number one Bosch Welders. Having said that, there were several other really high quality Bosch Welders we wanted to showcase here that just barely fell short.

Bosch is another top maker of Welders. They produce the tool next up on our lineup. Bosch's Arc Welders are also top quality. I was ready to try out the model 1994-6 and I was not let down!

This Arc Welder is only $178.72. That is a terrific deal for a quality Welder like the 1994-6 by Bosch. If you unsure about our number one selection, I'd look into the Bosch 1994-6 next. It's a first class tool at a good price.

There are some cheaper welders out there that have digital amperage adjustment. I needed it in order to weld aluminum successfully on the mobile. But watch the pricing, it changes regularly. I needed to hand carry in my luggage. I would not say it is a big deal, I can make pretty welds.
