It is sturdy, heavy duty and just right for a DYI garage guy. The top handle is by far easier to use and less cumbersome. I also used a sturdier cotter pins to hold the rear wheels on. You can try, and I've been successful, but it is very difficult. Best money I have spent on a Arc Welder.

It's true that the Bosch 1974-8 Arc Welder B0020ML6B8 was the Bosch Welders that we graded the highest. Having said that, there were a range of other truly premium quality Bosch Welders we wanted to show you here that just barely missed the mark.

Next up is built by Bosch known to be a very respectable tool manufacturer. Bosch's Arc Welders are among their top tools. I was excited to try the model 1994-6 and I was not disappointed!

This Arc Welder is only $178.72. That is an exceptional deal for a top quality Welder like the 1994-6 by Bosch. The Bosch 1994-6 is truly a solid alternative. Of you are uncertain about our top choice, I'd advise to go with this Welder.

There are some cheaper welders out there that have digital amperage adjustment. I needed it in order to weld aluminum successfully on the mobile. But watch the pricing, it changes regularly. I needed to hand carry in my luggage. I would not say it is a big deal, I can make pretty welds.
