I had to slide it over aprox 1/32 of an inch. This saw is heavy and having a helper or two is nice. This is my dream saw for my two car garage shop. The major problem I had was assembling the saw on the stand. I absolutely love the rip fence.

The DEWALT DW745 was undoubtedly our preferred Cross Cut Saws. Having said that, there were several other truly premium quality Cross Cut Saws worth showcasing here that only just fell short.
