No damage, packaging can improve. Did not power on when it arrived. Sand here, sand there, sand everywhere. Mine gets rough use and doesn't break down. The oscillation did not work on the first unit.

Here is the process I used for doing the drywall. You need a good vacuum and will have to clean the filter OFTEN. The sand paper that is advertised with the machine on amazon. The sanding disks don't clog easily because of the vacuum system. Anyway, used this WEN on 1300 sf of drywall.

I give it four stars because I have only had it for four days. The variable speed is amazing for the serious wood worker. We restore 4-6 pieces of furniture a year here at the house. Also take a short break every 15 minutes to let belt cool off. And that was with the 80 grit sanding belt that comes with it.

I realize it's called a palm sander but it feels awkward. This sander is a life saver if you need to get into tight spots. The best thing was it was super affordable. As a note, this was the first time I'd used this kind of sander. I had purchased a mouse sander locally and was very upset with it.

Do not push the machine to the ceiling, it makes the work itself. You can't ask a distributor to do more than this. The paint is what makes the texture so difficult to remove. I also bought a WEN handheld which I will be returning. I've been using it hours at a time and absolutely no issues.
