Yeah the base is a little flimsy but works awesome. Did not power on when it arrived. With a coat of paste wax, it's smooth. Great customer service from Triton. Had to go out and purchase a 30 MM and a 1 1/4 wrench.

These are my admittedly novice impressions of this tool. It's sturdily built, easy to handle and light weight. I did receive some damage to the product during shipping. It could just be that some bolts are lose, but I'm not sure. Sanding upside down and vertically was easy and effective.

Spare belts are commonly available and easy to change. Needless to say this is the best belt sander I've ever used. I was greatly impressed with how heavy duty this item is. Also take a short break every 15 minutes to let belt cool off. It's sander that you have to apply a lot of hand pressure to.
