I must have missed that in the description. Would give it more stars if I had that option. The rpm range runs from 5,000-10,000 rpm. One last thing, the dust collector are very easy to clean. I still wear a dust mask, but that is just common sense.

You will need Teflon tape to complete assembly. It's not a beast but it is a good mid-size sander. Works as it should Works will in my shop. As for its sanding capability, it sands quite fast. I have to reset the hose every few minutes.
