Using a vacuum with it is highly recommended. It runs smooth and the fit and finish is very good. For an around the shop grinder for a hobbyist metal worker. The disc has no visible run out on my unit and sands smoothly. Very little vibration and it's not really loud.

Tonight the Idler Roller started making noise. After setting tracking, it remained where initially set. I didn't time how long, but the heat might be an issue. The disc has no visible run out on my unit and sands smoothly. sander is doing fine, lot power sands well on metal and wood.

It's a nice machine and I wish I could have kept it. The rotating plate is basically useless to me. After returning the first one I received I got a decent sander. The fit and weight of this machine are excellent. There is one on each side and they do a lot to reduce noise.

There are just two mounting holes in the base of the sander. It runs smooth and the fit and finish is very good. For an around the shop grinder for a hobbyist metal worker. I am very pleased with the performance of this sander. I plugged in my shop vac to the port which fit nicely.

There are just two mounting holes in the base of the sander. I did something stupid and needed support help. You will not be disappointed in this unit is my best guess. I am very pleased with the performance of this sander. Not as heavily made as my old one, but is worth the money.

The second problem is the belt tracking adjustment. I don't use this for wood use, I use it to sand plastic. I had another model before this and there was no comparison. The fit and weight of this machine are excellent. sander is doing fine, lot power sands well on metal and wood.

And it is very hard to stop the belt with a large wood block. The rotating plate is basically useless to me. Everything I hated was now different and excellent. I'm very satisfied with the way this Rikon sander runs. Machine speed is 1725 RPM and this works very well.
