Overall this is a really nice sander that takes very little space on the workbench. Does a great job, heavy with lots of get up and go, a very nice product. This tool is quiet, and devoured every thing I threw at it. This sander has more than enough power for any material from soft wood to hard steel. This is my first Delta product and for sure I'll be buying more.

This flimsy locking mechanism should be improved. One interesting observation is the disc spins clockwise. Worked fine if one used a hand to set the lock. I am very pleased with the performance of this sander. Belts are easy to come by, plenty of power.

You will have to help it along a little with your other hand while you turn the knob. The wheel does not have any wobble to it and is very flat. Very much worth the extra price as it's obvious this unit will last years and years. Great tool for the workshop This has been an excellent machine. The platform adjusts easily and doesn't slip when I'm using the sander.

It arrived in 3 days, well packed and in perfect condition. It runs smooth and the fit and finish is very good. But the sander is cheap, so I didn't expect much. Only one belt speed and that speed is rather slow. This table too has no positive stops for 90 degree adjustment.
