I got the planer and put it to work right away. I use it outside as there is a huge outflow of chips. I used it to clean up salvaged/reclaimed wood. The left/right chip ejector is much better than PORTER-CABLE's. It is sturdy and the blade are double sided and sharp.

It's true that the WEN 6530 was the Corded Planers that we rated the highest. Having said that, there were a few other really high quality Corded Planers we wanted to showcase here that only just missed the mark.
