I got the planer and put it to work right away. I use it outside as there is a huge outflow of chips. I used it to clean up salvaged/reclaimed wood. The left/right chip ejector is much better than PORTER-CABLE's. It is sturdy and the blade are double sided and sharp.

The WEN 6530 was our favorite Corded Planers. That being said, there are a number of other superb alternatives when it comes to Corded Planers. We have them for you here.

The next in our tool break down is built by PORTER-CABLE which is a very respectable tool brand. PORTER-CABLE's Electric Hand Planers are one of their top products. It was fantastic to try the PC60THP. I was very happy with this tool!

This Electric Hand Planer is just $67.99. That is a great deal for a premium Planer like the PC60THP by PORTER-CABLE. If you uncertain about our number one selection, I'd check out the PORTER-CABLE PC60THP next. It's a top quality tool at a good price.

This planer cut 1/8 inch swaths with no problem. So other people wouldn't have too much trouble handling it. I have mostly Bosch tools and none of them have failed. I tightened the 6 blade holding bolts a tad. Makes a mess even with the bag on but whatever
