All the important bits are metal. I'm very pleased with the Jet 414459. Good product for reasonable price. Appear to be excellent quality. This saw cuts through out of the gate.

The fact is that the General International BS5205 Band Saw B015R40GV6 was the Vertical Band Saws that we rated at the top. However, there were a few other very premium quality Vertical Band Saws worth showcasing here that barely fell short.

Next on our list is manufactured by Jet which is a very reputable tool manufacturer. Jet's Band Saws are one of their top tools. It was terrific to test the 414459. I was very satisfied with this tool!
